Nu Tribe is an all Polynesian dance crew in Utah that focuses on giving youth in the Salt Lake City valley an opportunity to be more involved with their community. Nu Tribe teaches all the basic dances like ballet, hip hop, contemporary, etc. but they also teach Polynesian history and dances based on the stories and histories of the Polynesian people.

I was introduced to the Nu Tribe by an old friend from high school while I was getting my journalism degree at the University of Utah. He allowed me to come to a few of their classes, sit in the back, and observe the energy and the enviroment.
